Psalm 96:1-2

Sing to the LORD a new song;

sing to the LORD, all the earth.

Sing to the LORD, praise His name:

proclaim His salvation

day after day.

What a joy it is to know what God has done for us.  He sent Jesus, His Son, to live, die and rise so that our sins can be forgiven.  

That is a reason to sing!

Throughout the Bible we hear of God's children giving thanks and praise for all that He has done, continues to do, and promises to fulfill.  

We hope to share this joy with the campers this summer, reminding us all that we have salvation through faith in Jesus, and that our lives can be filled with singing to Him in thanksgiving.

Scripture also shows us that we can reach out to Him when we are sad, hurting, or even doubting.  This, too, is a reason to sing, because we have a loving Father who hears even those songs.

Come and join us this summer as we remember the reason we sing; because Jesus loves us.
