Camp Lutherhoma
Case Statement for Campaign

A Special Place

“Camp Lutherhoma is a special place, a place where young and old can come and feel like they belong.  I have heard many people say that coming to camp is like coming home, that here they feel safe, secure, and accepted by everyone.  This is why we must continue to grow, expand and change, to continue to be that special place where everyone feels like they belong.”

( John Busch , Director, Camp Lutherhoma )

  The Capital Campaign Theme:
His Promise, His Hope, His Future

This is Based on Jeremiah 29:10-11 “This is what the Lord says:’…I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place.  For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”

  Camp Lutherhoma ’s Mission Statement
The mission of Camp Lutherhoma is to Nurture Discipleship in Jesus Christ, in outdoor settings, which excite believers to share the love of Christ to the world.

By God’s grace we have been faithful to this mission, and in recent years we have seen an overall increase in campers and retreat groups.  We try to go by the model that ministry goals produce the programs and programs indicate what facilities are needed.
